RENATA TARDANI
Graduated in History and Philosophy at the University of Milan, I was assistant producer at Filmalpha, a Production Company in Rome that produced among others Death in Venice by Visconti, The Desert of the Tartars by Zurlini and Ecce Bombo by Nanni Moretti. Then I was a partner in their advertising production company for three years.

I was on the board of directors at BRW, one of the two biggest Italian production companies, and was its head of Production for five years. As a freelancer I then worked for National and International Clients and with many of the most accomplished directors, either from the cinema or advertising environment (such as Federico Fellini, Michael Bay. Jean Paul Rappenau, Ettore Scola, Mauro Bolognini, Steve Chase, Rick Levine, Carlton Chase).
For four years I was also a partner and manager of the Milan office of the international network Stillking, working on commercials and foreign films, including Kinky Boots, a Disney production, and Revelations, an American television series by NBC.
With Miro Film he produced commercials, music videos (Fabrizio De Andrè, Ornella Vanoni, Emma Bunton ...) Institutional films (Prada, Land Rover, Same ...) various documentaries, both social and cultural, including a series of 22 documentaries of 24' each on Italian photography, Poesia che mi guardi by Marina Spada, a documentary film on Antonia Pozzi presented as a special event at the "Giornate degli Autori" at the Venice Film Festival.
I have also directed social and cultural documentaries, including A sharp cold pin on Eating Disorders and My school on Rinnovata Pizzigoni.
Since 2010, for four years, I have been on the Board of Directors of the Civic Schools in Milan (Cinema-Theatre-Music and Languages).
I was executive producer for twentyfour films - 15' - produced by Libera (An Associations who works against the mafia) on victims of the mafia, directed by young Italian directors.
